The Goose River Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League and has been in operation since the 1970’s. While the club existence had faded for a few years, they are now in the process of rebuilding. The goal of the club is to provide fellowship to Amateur Radio Operators in the Mayville, North Dakota Area while being always ready to provide Emergency Communications if called upon. The club repeater on a frequency of 146.910 has been in operation since 1978 as well with the initial equipment still in operation. It is believed that this repeater is the oldest operating repeater in the state of North Dakota. The club has monthly meetings and participates in many Amateur Radio activities.
